ICA brand history
Founded in 1990, ICA (Identification Code Auto) has established itself as a pioneer in anti-theft security by inventing anti-theft engraving. This innovative know-how has enabled the company to become a benchmark in vehicle protection.
In 2011, ICA joined the Identicar Group, France’s leading automotive services provider, marking an important step in its development. The following year, in 2012, the company strengthened its offer by proposing a complementary product dedicated to 2-wheelers, responding to the growing needs of motorcyclists.
In 2017, ICA took another step forward by becoming Club ICA, affirming its desire to create a genuine community around safety and support for two-wheeler users.
In 2018, ICA joined the Auvray High Security group, a recognized player in anti-theft design, consolidating its expertise and broadening its scope to include affinity insurance.
In 2011, ICA joined the Identicar Group, France’s leading automotive services provider, marking an important step in its development. The following year, in 2012, the company strengthened its offer by proposing a complementary product dedicated to 2-wheelers, responding to the growing needs of motorcyclists.

Integration into the Auvray story
This acquisition is part of the Auvray Group’s strategic evolution, which in 2018 acquired ICA in order to complete its portfolio of services with an offer in identification and affinity insurance.
In 2020, Auvray took another step forward by becoming a bicycle identification operator approved by the French Ministry of Transport, reinforcing its role in securing soft mobility.
Finally, in 2021, FMA Assurances, a wholesale broker specializing in two-wheeler insurance since 1996 and a partner of major brands (BMW Motorrad France, Honda France, Harley Davidson), will acquire the Auvray group. This acquisition enables us to offer two-wheeler professionals a comprehensive solution, combining safety, identification and insurance.
Today, the heritage of ICA, combined with the expertise of Auvray and the know-how of FMA Assurances, makes this group a key player in the safety and protection of motorcyclists and cyclists.
