Limiting the effects of theft
Depending on your primary insurance company, it may be mandatory or strongly recommended.
All 2-wheelers have a unique serial number assigned by the manufacturer.
If you own a 2-wheeler over 50 cm3, your dealer will engrave the registration number or the last 8 characters of the serial number on 11 parts of your 2-wheeler. If you own a 2-wheeler under 50cm3, this is the engine number that your dealer will engrave.
